At Whitehead Inn, our North Carolina bed and breakfast, we accept cash, travelers checks, personal checks, VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover Card for payment. A credit card number is required to hold your reservation. Payment at checkin can be in any form above.

Unlike most inns, we do not charge a deposit at the time you make a reservation.  Cancellations received more than 48 hours prior to your arrival will be subject to a $25.00 cancellation fee.  If you cancel less than 48 hours prior to your scheduled arrival, or depart before your scheduled check out date, you will be responsible for the entire reservation unless we are able to rebook the room.  This policy may vary for groups (4 or more rooms), holidays and at certain  other times of the year.  Please call for more information or if you have any questions regarding  our cancellation policy.

We are members of the Professional Association of Innkeepers International (PAII). We are inspected and approved by North Carolina B&B Inns Association (NCBBI). We are members of AAA and the Better Business Bureau.

Check-in time is between 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. unless otherwise arranged. Please call in advance for special arrangements. Check out time is at 11:00 a.m.

All rooms are non-smoking; smoking is permitted outside only.

Please, no children under 12 years old.
